Paella is a traditional Spanish dish that originated in the Valencia region. It is a flavorful and colorful rice dish that is often made with a variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables. Making paella requires some specific ingredients and steps to ensure an authentic and delicious result. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make paella, along with a list of ingredients you will need.

       
 Ingredients:

1. 3 tablespoons of olive oil

2. 1 onion, finely chopped

3. 4 cloves of garlic, minced

4. 1 red bell pepper, sliced

5. 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

6. 1 green bell pepper, sliced

7. 2 tomatoes, grated

8. 2 cups of Spanish paella rice (short-grain rice)

9. 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth

10. 1 teaspoon of saffron threads

11. 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika

12. Salt and pepper to taste

13. 1 pound of chicken thighs, cut into small pieces

14. 1 pound of chorizo sausage, sliced

15. 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined

16. 1 pound of mussels, cleaned and debearded

17. 1 cup of frozen peas

Step 1: Heat the Olive Oil

In a large paella pan or a wide, shallow skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Step 2: Sauté the Aromatics

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan and sauté until they are soft and translucent.

Step 3: Add the Bell Peppers

Stir in the sliced red, yellow, and green bell peppers and cook until they start to soften.

Step 9: Continue Cooking

Cover the pan with a lid or aluminum foil and continue cooking for another 10 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the seafood is fully cooked.

Step 10: Garnish and Serve
